This was a five week course I undertook in the second cycle of the third semester of my undergraduate design studies here at Srishti. Our primary objective was to learn existing wood joints and as a final performance of understanding, come up with an original three member joint of our own.
We also briefly looked at Theo Jensen’s kinetic sculptures and the application of the joints he has come up with.
